B is for Bonner: The ABCs of Bonner, MT is . . .

a book of adventure, perfect for any child who loves to explore. This book will be especially meaningful to anyone with a personal connection to Bonner, but it will also be a delightful journey for anyone with a passion for reading, learning, and discovering joy.

The format is a children’s picture book with an ABC rhyme scheme (i.e. A is for ____, B is for _____, and so on) taking the reader on an adventure through the town.

Nature, history, animals, food, and community are some of the themes for each “stop” on the town tour. At the end of the book, the reader is invited to embrace their own town, wherever that may be, and search for beauty, wonder, love, and joy wherever they are. 

The illustrator for the book is Molly Russell, an incredible Missoula-based illustrator who will bring Bonner to life in a magical, colorful, and lovely way. She also illustrated the local children’s book, Goodnight Missoula. 

 I am in the final stages of editing, and illustration is scheduled to begin in December 2025. The book, if everything happens on the anticipated timeline, should be printed sometime in Summer 2026!
